    "Excellent Camera" on by kevin_liy

Pros: Easy to Use, Good Handling Grip

    Cons: Battery Life

    Summary: The Kodak z700
It may look bulky, but it beat those compact cameras with extra 1x optical zoom. I boguht this to have the extra optical zoom.
This is a 4.0 MP, 5x Optical, 4 Digital Zoom.
It has many settings, so that you can take different pictures.
The memory flap slot is really good easy to open adn close.
The battery slot can is easy to open and clsoe be careful not to open to fast, it may break.
The lcd screen it little small.
Make sure to have alot of spare Alkaline batteries, becauses this camera need alot.
Upgrade to Ni-Mh so that you can recharge the batter Ni-cad is also good.

"I really like it. My second digital camera" on by Lorddonk

Pros: Easy to use, a little cheaper than competition

Cons: EasyShare PC program isn't the greatest looking...

Summary: This was my second digital camera. My first was some cheap thing that I bought at WalMart for 20.00. It wasn't even a real camera, it was shaped like an IPod and was a chromey blue color. It wouldn't even install. I eventually got this camera as a gift for Christmas. And I LOVE it. It might not be the greatest camera out there but who actually NEEDS all those things. My package, came with the camera and a docking station (not a printer one just a re-charger), a 50 MB (yes 50 MEGAbyte) memory card, plus Kodak's EasyShare software for my PC. I am extremely happy with it! The installation went perfectly, and instructions guide you through every step. Using the docking station, you can intiate a "1-Touch" transfer, and the pictures are automatically transfered to a default folder, with only 1 button press. The software and one very small process runs silently in the background allowing you to initiate a connection at any time, quickly.

"Not worth the price, poor reliability" on by amman

    Pros: nice pictures, nice zoom

Cons: ate up batteries, broke after 2nd day of use, lens stayed out when batteries died and at times when th camera was turned off. The display flipped out.

Summary: The first day I got the camera, I noticed that the lens would stay out at times even when turing the dial to off. Sometimes the flash failed. The pictures were nice and so was the zoom. But the camera started chewing up 4 sets of batteries on the second day, the lens constantly stayed out and the screen started chaning different colors. I returned this piece of junk and bought a Canon A520 which had more features, took better pictures, much more reliable was selling for the same price.

    "It's Great!" on by Frannie326

    Pros: little to no delay

Cons: flash can be overpowering at times

Summary: overall, I'm happy with this camera. at times the flash seems overpowering and others when you don't think you need it, you desperately do. most of my photos are done outside so flash isn't much of an issue. I do lots of action shots for extreme sports and found this camera to be the best for the buck with little to no delay from when you snap the photo. don't think your picture is falling short based on the LCD screen. when you get the photo's on your computer, it's really amazing to see how beautiful your pictures turn out.

"Excellent Camera For the Price." on by yarger72

Pros: Great Photos, Many Options for photo Shoot, fits in hand perfectly.

    Cons: Kodak Support really sucks

Summary: This is an awesome camera for the price. I love a digital camera that I can Grip in my hand and not feel like I am going to crush it with my oversized sausage hands. The pictures are excellent quality for 4 mp cameras. (I laugh at those that say they suck. These are people that are looking for 8mp quality in a 4mp camera.) the Video camera isnt the greatest but I have a camcorder for that. About the only thing I can say bad about this is the Support for kodak sucks. but that has been known for years.
