"Excellent picture quality with mediocre video quality."4.0 starson by joeyyowee
Pros: Great picture quality in auto mode, easy to use, great user interface
Cons: Mediocre video quality, Video goes out of focus unless you use single autofocus, pictures take a few seconds to process before you could review them
Summary: The CNET editor was right. If you're a patient photo-shooter that's looking for great quality images for a cheap price this is the camera for you. The video quality is mediocre, but it's good for people who are looking to do basic things like post vlogs on youtube and what not. The battery life is decent and I have no idea what some other reviewers were talking about. I looked at other cameras for the same price as this one and I couldn't find anything that was close to being as good as this as far as picture quality is concerned. I compared this to my dad's high end Panasonic and the quality on this was better. I'm disappointed that they discontinued this model and they aren't going to make a Kodak like this in the future, but I'm hoping that the new M583 is going to be as good as this with improved video quality. I'm definitely getting another Kodak in the future.
