"Really good camera once you understand it"
Pros: Go for RAW files
Cons: Dont waste your time shooting in jpeg format.
Summary: Wasn't terribly impressed initially as colours were a bit bland and there was evidence of a red colour cast at times on photos taken in jpeg format. Yes,you can increase the saturation but who are you trying to kid? But if you shoot in RAW everything appears more natural and you can fine tune the images with Photo Shop or Paint Shop but dont over do it!! By all means convert your files to jpegs ultimately if you want to get them processed at Jessops etc. But make sure you retain a copy of the original RAW files - preferably on CD.

Hi...
Just read your critique of the
KM Dimage A200 written last
March....Why such a high score of
9 (spectacular) when you seemed
so dissatisfied? I am looking
for a prosumer camera with
a nice sized zoom...do not
want to carry around all the
equipment for an SLR any more.
Would you still recommend this camera?
