"Shot to shot image quality not reliable" on by dhighone
Pros: Excellent macro shots
Cons: Unit can't seem to gauge light correctly
Summary: Got a great buy on this camera at 200.00. I should have listen to the old saying. You get what you pay for. The camera cant seem to gauge the light in shots correctly, resulting in dark photos about 30% of the time. I can take a crisp bright picture once, and from the same location 30 seconds later I get a crap shot. This is my third digital camera, and it looks like it's headed to ebay. My advice is to keep looking if you value a good point and shoot. I'm considering the canon 620, add a couple hundred buck from my ebay listing, and I'll be back in business.

"Sensational picture quality" on
Pros: I used the G500 for a year and the G600 takes everything that was good about the G500 and improves on it. No red eye problems and a real manual, not on a CD.
Cons: Sucks a lot of power downloading photos to computer. Would be nice to include an AC adapter.

"Past My Expectations" on by luckjon
Pros: Fast, compact, good images
Cons: none, maybe that the battery is properiety, so getting a replacement can get pricey Can't use extension lenses.
Summary: Turns on fast, can use SD or MemStick. Image quality is very good, can blow up images really big.
Overall, i am proud to use this product. -
"fair but I've owned and used better" on by rrqzing
Pros: great for smple daylight shots
Cons: the red eye flash is way out of sinc and because of the megapixels available, it should have image srabilation built in.
Summary: This is just a good camera, not great. I've owned Olympus, casio and kodak digitals. This is my least favorite. It does give you alot of optios for shooting and zoom, but it looses alot of great shots because once you start to use the great zoom the image gets really bad shake. It could use image stabilation, then it would be ranked as one of my facorites. It needs for the red eye flash to flash quicker in comparison to the regular flash, too much time expires after the initial flash for hte red eye to be effective. It does have a great size and it's a smart camera. but just those few things make it just a good camera for the everyday joe.

"Good outside camera bad inside" on by smcd32
Pros: Good quality pictures
Cons: Takes HORIABLE INSIDE PICS
Summary: Opens to the left. Too many function choices to get a good picture. Auto selection is a waste of time. It makes really bad choice for pictures. Better off configuring yourself but be prepared to fiddle with it alot to figure out how to take that one good picture.
