Quick Take: The Konica Minolta Dimage X1 is the latest in Minolta's X series of supercompact cameras. The X1 uses an 8-megapixel CCD and an optical zoom lens in a package less than an inch thick. The camera's folded zoom lens system has a focal length of 37mm to 111mm (35mm equivalent), with an aperture range of f/3.5 to f/3.8. The camera brings some new features to the Dimage X series, including Konica Minolta's Anti-Shake image stabilization, a multifunction cradle that can hook up to a television, and the ability to record VGA video at 20 frames per second with sound.
