This camera has many new advanced modes, such as movie editing (where you can remove individual frames out from the movie), image pasting (where you can "paste" a part of an image onto another), and a mode that takes nine consecutive pictures in a row that are displayed as thumbnails on the screen. The super macro mode is great, and the sports mode has a very fast shutter speed, which is a lot of help. One disadvantage not listed above is that the amount of flashes on the camera changes from mode to mode. However, this is a miniscule problem; the flashes are easy to figure put.
