Awesome "take everywhere" camera
Pros: Beautiful 4x6 prints, color reproduction, size, has a viewfinder, easy to use
Cons: Photo quality with lower light conditions, delay with flash
I take more pictures now, because it is so easy to slip this camera in a pocket no matter where I'm going. My 4x6 prints look awesome, and I have been asked many times by people, "What kind of camera did you take these with!". In bright light conditions, the viewfinder is a lifesaver. I have been out with other people who didn't have one in their camera, and they were really struggling to line up shots.
On the downside, the pictures taken in dimly lit rooms, with the flash, are prone to bluriness, fore-subjects blown out, and grainy. With Photoshop, I was able to improve a lot of indoor/flash pictues, but I wish they had just come out nicely to begin with. Also, there was definitely a notable delay in the shutter with the flash.
Another downside is when you ask someone else to take a picture with your camera. They do tend to put their finger in front of the lens, even when you tell them to be careful about it. The owners of the camera will get past this little problem quickly.
All in all, a fantastic camera with some low light problems that many other digitals face.

Truly terrible!
Pros: Small and light weight, easy to use
Cons: Slow on the shutter - when you press the button to take a picture, the delay is so long that you end up photographing something different from what you expected!

Cons: Slight delay in the shutter which makes it more difficult to snap a moving object. Battery is unique, thus hard to replace.

Image quality not good
Pros: small, easy to use.
Cons: image quality is very grainy and not very clear. I got better pictures from my 5-year old 1MP camera. Also, beware, you may end up with your finger in more pictures than you wish - with the location of the lense, you must be careful how you hold this ca

Okay, but ...
Pros: The size is great and it is easy to operate.
Cons: It seems to take forever from the time you press the button until the photo gets taken -- enough time at least for my infant's cute smile to change to a grimace. The autofocus is a little screwy -- it will focus in, then out, then it will stop, but the p

The best out of 3

Great camera at its price for its size.
Pros: I am a professional photographer and bought the camera for its compact size. I did not intend it to serve as a pro quality camera but rather bought it for snap shot shooting. It serves its purpose well in that regard. I have read many negatives on thi
Cons: It could have a larger LCD. Any other changes I would suggest would come at the sacrifice of increasing the camera's dimensions. That would defeat the point. Minolta came out with a rich featured camera that works as advertisd in a very small package.

Finally, a camera that even my fussy daughter loves!
Pros: Bought this camera for my teenage daughter after I sold her larger Sony P1 on ebay. She never used the Sony, it was too large to carry with her all the time. Alas, after 2 weeks of owning the XG, she takes it with her everywhere, and is having FUN with it
Cons: No Video out mode, which we can live without, and rather small viewfinder. X50 moves up to a 2" screen that an old geezer like me can see.

Great Compact Camera!
Pros: This camera is one of the best values out there. It takes great pictures, easy to use, and lets face it, it is SMALL! You can fit it in your pocket and its like having a pack of Altoids in it. You should def check this out.
Cons: Charging the battery is sorta a hassle but it takes like 2 secs to take it out of the camera and into the charger. For shots with longer shutter speeds you def need a tripod but this happens rarely.

Nice package of size, features, and price

Cons: Focus time is a tad slow, don't really like having to remove the battery to re-charge, and would be even nicer as 4MP. Low light-level shots can be dicey. Almost too small sometimes, can be hard to stabilize the camera - you might want a tripod for hig

Querky but not bad for entry level
Pros: A good entry level camera for travel. Small and nice menus once you figure them out. Comes with nice case. Buyers will need to buy spare battery or it wont last.
Cons: Quite small and knobs ARE quite difficult to operate if you have stubby fingers. Battery life is short and must be FULL charged or it wont be recognized by WinXP. Definitely need two batteries for travel. And they need to make a 12V travel charger for

Excellent snap shot value, but lacks some features
Pros: Size, ease of use, interface, point and click functions, nice black and white and sepia modes, good battery life, excellent for stills
Cons: lag makes action shots difficult - esp in low light, Longer load times between photos means that multiple shots get missed, 3x zoom is nice but combined with 3.2 megapixel size means that the camera is inappropriate for some types of event/distance photog

Great Compact Camera

Cons: see above. Like other cameras of this type, you have to wait a long time between shots... it takes a while to *****, then you have to wait for it to save the pic, then you have to wait for it to focus again. You're lucky to get two shots of any event.

Great photos from a shirt pocket camera

Handy and small enough to hide in your pocket
Pros: The 180 min of recording option is cool and a small camera is something nice to have.
Cons: It's ugly. Change it's dimesions slightly to make it more appealing to the eye. More rectangular like a conventional camera. It's price also makes it a little impractical.

Unique Price/Performance Combo.
Pros: I'm not a photography expert, but I'm very happy with this camera so far. Its easy to use, very compact, seems sturdy and well designed. For a compact, it takes great pictures. Its very cheap, especially compared to Sony's new compact. USB 2.0 is great
