"This camera is a LTR you won't regret"
Pros: Styling, warranty, lens, pic quality, red dot
Cons: none that I can see
Summary: I've owned other cameras, some P&S, some DSLRs. This is the finest camera of the lot, and a steal at 600$.
The lens is tremendous - the best you'll find in a P&S and better than most DSLRs. Is it perfect? No. But if you want a perfect camera in all situations, you won't be looking at a P&S anyway. That said, this camera is versatile and stands up in most situations, except for hand-held night photos if you've got shaky hands.
A little warning: you will fall head-over-heels for this camera. It takes superb pictures. It feels great, looks even better, and is extremely well-built (2 year warranty!!! who else does that these days?).
This is a camera that will be with you for a very long time. I cannot imagine documenting my life's experiences with a lesser camera in order to save a hundred dollars.
Do yourself a favor and buy this beautiful little P&S. It puts the Canons of the world to shame, and is worth every penny.
