"It's a work in progress so why bash it?"
5.0 starson by daiei27Pros: - focus after the fact (i.e. less lag while taking shots)
- see details that would have been missed otherwise
- you can generate tons of photographs from one "image", or you can use the Lytro plugin for a pretty cool user-controllable experienceCons: Restricted editing/viewing options
Summary: Why are people leaving negative reviews without having any experience with the product?
Also, why complain about stuff that is obviously on the road map? They already said Windows support is coming.
This is the first generation so it's expected to be limited in its capabilities, especially something this revolutionary. I'm sure future versions of the product will support higher resolutions, more memory, maybe even a smaller form factor, etc. There's a lot of potential here, just give it a chance.
Ignore the naysayers here that don't know what they're talking about. They're probably the same people who dissed the Kindle and iPad and look at where those are at now. People don't like change, but this could really change digital photography for the better. If anything it's another option in a photographer's arsenal. I know as an everyday consumer I'd love to have one.
