"Perfect for beginners, eh for pros" on by bschultzx
Pros: Amazingly small and durable, quick zoom change, quick focus in most lighting, bright flash for its size, and terrific battery life.
Cons: Being a pro photographer, I would have liked to see manual arpeture and iso settings, but the lack of manual shutter speed adjustment is rediculous.
Summary: This camera is perfect for taking around, I don't mind the slight image noise in dark areas when it means not having to lug a D70 around on trips. However, more manual controls would have made this a ten. Still, it is my personal favorite camera, and wouldn't think twice about buying another one if I have to.

I an a new digital photography student and I had to buy a new camera. I got a great deal on it but shortly after realized that it didn't have manual mode which was a must for a lot of my projects. But with much use and tinkering, I have been able to adjust this camera to almost Manual mode.
