"Poor blurry photos"
0.5 starson by iladerPros: Instant first shot.
Rugged.Cons: Slow second shot.
Sensor poor at lower light.
Very frequent lens flare.
Interior fogging.
Easily smudged lens.
Unusable secondary (no fingers) control system.
Is the GPS on (can't tell)? If so, the camera is almost dead.Summary: Poor camera. Photos are often blurry, either from glare, easily-smudged lens, or temporary interior fog. The sun or lighting can't be anywhere in front of the camera, or overhead, or you will get glare streaks. The sensor seems unusually noisy in other than sunlight; decreasing the resolution seems to help. The GPS uses the battery as fast as any handheld GPS: a few hours. This means your camera will be dead a few hours after a full recharge. There is no clear indication that the GPS is off, and there is no "GPS OFF" function (through a complex menu, you tell the GPS not to track, and I think then it is off. I hope.)

We haven't had the GPS problem yet (we think.) We did have the side panel of the camera fall off, so we're afraid to take it in the water. Murphy's Law: it's our only waterproof camera and we're on a snorkeling/boating vacation.
The food setting works well. The auto was OK, but it overshaded red spice bags at an outdoor market. Perhaps we should have used spot metering - bright light here. The flower setting worked well as did the beach setting. Overall not as good as our Canon B30, but we're on our third one.
A panel should not simply fall off a camera advertised as tough and drop-proof. We're not happy.
