Nikon Coolpix AW100 (Orange)

Pros: Takes great underwater photos and videos. Also don't have to worry about the camera if it is raining or wet.

Cons: Seems a bit expensive as compared to other waterproof cameras. However I did get it with a $50 instant rebate. After tax it was still over $300. However I bought it because of the brand. Have had other Nikon cameras that I have been very happy with.

Summary: This little camera takes great pictures. Clearly it isn't one of those $1,000 or more cameras but for what it is I have no complaints. I bought the camera to take with me on vacation to Hawaii (10 days on Oahu and 4 days on Maui). I couldn't be more happy with the camera. I went on the Arizona memorial tour and then the USS Missouri. While on the Missouri it started to rain pretty good. With any other camera I would have been worried. Not with this one at all. It took great pictures all through the rain. Also took some pictures while swimming in the ocean. No problems there either. Then went to Maui and did some snorkeling. I took both several pictures and videos and all turned out great. You can actually hear whales in the video and it is amazing.
