Summary: Bought this at Costco on sale! Going on a cruise and wanted a small camera so I would not have to take my DSLR, the wife didn't like the "tourist" factor. We also wanted to be around water and not be worried. After a week on the cruise, the camera was in my pocket almost always, we got some great images that I would not have gotten because the big camera simply wouldn't have been with me. The ability to take quick panoramic shots was great and the video function was both simple and quite good. My wife took the camera and was doing a ship tour for a friend planning to go on a cruise later. She was able to do most everything without reading the manual or needing much help. We went snorkeling and the underwater function was simple duck under the water and take photos. No fuss, no muss. There is plenty of space on the 4 gig card, 30 minutes of HD video or 450 or so images at the highest resolution. The only downside and it is small was that the battery needed to be charged at the end of every day. That's probably because I spent so much time looking at the pictures. The camera now is in my every day bag almost all the time.
