""I, also, am kind of disappointed.""
2.5 starson by ubiquitousnewtPros: First and foremost, "Cheap." Big monitor, every once in the while takes an exceptional shot... runs on AAs. Connects to PC seamlessly as a drive.
Cons: Consistently refuses to take good pictures. Slow focus with eternal hunting. Zero manual control over camera settings outside of preset modes, and the preset modes invariably take a bad shot the first 3-5 tries (usually until you fix the poor flash preset
Summary: "You get what you pay for." The L24 is an acceptable alternative to buying a reloadable film camera and scanning the shots, but only just. My phone's camera takes equivalent or better photos, and that's just borderline embarrassing. If I had it all to do over, I would not buy this camera.
Correction - that rant was about the L24 - sorry!
