Pros The features hae been very easy to manouver with minimal practice. My photos are turning out great! I am in love with the quality of my distance shots and the speed at which it focuses when zooming in.
Cons The only con so far is that if I try to take a close shot without using the "close up" feature, a shadow is cast on the bottom of the photo because the lense is longer than the flash is tall. I need to get the book out to figure out how to increase the sh
Summary I'm no professional but I wanted a quality camera that made my candids look fantastic. I didn't want to spend too much money on a camera I wouldn't know how to use without taking a class. I'm thankful this camera was an optionfor me. So far it's fitting perfectly into my life!
Pros The body, I love the "professional camera look"
It works with 4 AA batteries instead to go around searching some place to plug it
Cons it's fully automatic
Summary if You're looking for something to "HOLD" in your hands, instead the mini and micro cameras, besides, it's a "point and shot" camera, nothing sofisticated, really ease to use. If You want to work with the zoom (21X) then You'll need a tripod.
Pros Good entry-level bridge camera for close still shots
AA batteries, small internal memory (not found very often in cameras now-a-days), plenty of scene options, easy menus.
Cons Blurry pics when using zoom at any distance. Slow focus time. Slow reload time.
Summary I reluctantly purchased this camera despite the reviews being all over the place. I must say that if you are patient and are not using the zoom very much that the camera is not that bad; however why would one purchase a camera that has its features unusable? I know that most people are quite upset when a camera does not meet the standards or expectations they had, but one must really read the reviews, play with it at the store, and then make a sound decision about purchasing. I did all these steps and still ended up returning the camera less than 24 hours later because I did not want to "settle".
