Pros great zoom, lots of features, good video quality
Cons poor poor picture quality if there was any kind of dimming in the room the picture will become instantly grainy like if i had it zoomed all the way thats the same picture quality you would see.
Summary CONS CONTINUED:
theres no feature to keep the flash on. just off an auto so before every picture in the dark it needs to test the amount of light before taking the picture. the timing of the flash and the actual taking of the picture is off every picture i took people were squinting dew to the flash. The focus is TERRIBLE! i had to zoom slowly everytime or else it be out of focus 10 to 20 seconds
Dont buy it at this price u should be recieving more that what is asked . good brand bad camera. if you have patients an wont be using it in the dark then its for you but if your looking for quick picture cam in all conditions move on
Pros Price seemed perfect @ $200.99 at Best Buy online. Size and weight felt great. 26x Zoom.
Cons Pictures were horrible! Fuzzy when zoomed, time between taking shots was horrendously long, time to take a picture seemed to last forever, and the "Auto Scene" mode seemed to be off (night shot in the day, indoor when outdoors, etc).
Summary Disappointed. My point-and-shoot compact Coolpix has a better picture and response time. I'll be upgrading to most likely a Sony, none of the current similar Nikon models seem to have great reviews.
Pros good image quality in decent lighting
excellent zoom and good image stabilization
nice display , good quality video record and sound
nice scene modes and easy handling
although focusing is a little bit slow but focus quality is just like a DSLR
Cons image quality partially decreases in low light without flash
slow zoom while video recording
slightly slow shutter speed
Summary good camera in its price tag , good color production
overall a good image depends on you and the moment whichever camera you use , because if you think image will not be good before click it will never be
Pros a lot of features
great optical zoom
Cons terrible lag time taking pictures
poor low light capabilities
focus does not work. expect 80% of your pics to be out of focus!
saving pics even to a class 10 card takes "forever"
Summary wow... not enough space in the cons section.... so here we continue with the cons...
Nikon does not seem to improve anything - not a single issue has been addressed in a firmware update
Bottom line - make sure you can return it and test it as much as possible in the first day or two... for me, the older models of this camera were working way better and I would not buy it again.
