"My videos deleted from memory card while transfering"1.0 starson by lenolle
Pros: Easy to use, more or less decent pictures
Cons: I don't now on what stage it happens, but I LOST MY VIDEOS at least twice at some point while transferring to PC. DISASTER!
Summary: One of the lost videos was absolutely precious, and is irreplaceable. I am still DEVASTATED. They were showing fine when I checked them from camera. When this "transferring" box opens on your desktop, you can't tell if you have all the videos since you only see black squares (not like on YouTube fir example, when you can see first pic). I transferred all that I had there, but it was not on my PC, yet some videos were transferred. The camera also "froze" while shooting photos at least once, and I just could not turn it off, so I had to actually take out its battery (it was not at the same time when I lost my videos - before you ask). Video quality is poor, recorded sound is not clear too. The screen blacks out for a few seconds after hitting Record button while videotaping. I have Nikon D80 which takes better photos, but is heavy to take everywhere, and doesn't shot videos. So I've bought this one to use together with videotaping when travel. What a disappointment it was!
If you care as much as I about saving memorable videos, DO NOT USE IT'S VIDEO future!!!
