"W-Fi will work, just give it more than a passing glance!"
Pros: Very quick and user-friendly, lots of connectivity options.
Cons: Hard to focus when not in auto mode.
Summary: With the Coolpix P2 I recently bought, I found this to be an excellent all-around camera to use. You can transfer pictures to and from the camera in three different ways! (Most cameras only have two).
The wireless technology requires a little bit of tech-knowledge, but it's easy to figure out if you sit down and take a crack at it for a little while.
It was a definate step up in every aspect from my old camera. Smaller size, bigger pictures, more features, Wi-Fi capable, less expensive.
For those who are frustrated with the Wi-Fi:
This is a new technology, it's a given that it will be hard. Think back when you bought a new computer, and got dumped on the DOS prompt, without knowing a single thing. You managed, you can manage again.
For those thinking of buying the camera because of the Wi-Fi:
This camera has the Wi-Fi option, but as always, this camera is adamantly designed for ease of use, and 99% of the time, you won't need anything other than the auto mode, and the USB cable. Setting up the Wi-Fi CAN be a hassle, but it can also be a breeze if you know what you're doing. My words of advice: Don't base your decision on the wi-fi feature. It's nice, and it works, and when it does, it's amazing, but nevertheless, there are other features to gape at.
