Nikon Coolpix P300 (Black)

Pros: Outstanding point-and-shoot results, amazing low light performance, exemplary manual capabilities, excellent HD video maker.

Cons: Steep learning curve, non-intuitive user interface, needs a separate mike input

Summary: I know the manual capabilities are all there, but I haven't figured out how to use them yet, as the interface is a challenge (as is the "manual": who wrote that ^&$%#$@&^ thing?) The included (and necessary) download and image manipulation software is a PAIN to use ... maybe because I'm a Mac user? But as a point-and-shoot device, this camera is fantastic, delivering superlative results and a wonderfully precision feel to the user. If you can only have one camera, this might be the right one.
