"Inexpensive..." on by bdonaldson65
Pros: great feature set, low cost, purchased at Costco for 219. SD media.great image quality in outdoor settings
Cons: very weak indoor picture quality and no optical view finder
Summary: For the money a decent little camera. A bit tough to navigate and get used to especially when this type of camera is attractive to a point and shoot consumer. Purchased for my wife whom has zero interest (tolerance) in bells and whistles, she just wants to capture the moment! Found this not to be the camera for her! My biggest con was that indoor pictures where almost unacceptable! Outdoor shots look great! I will be returning it for the Canon SD1000. I am partial to Canon digitals...except for my Nikon D80!

"Buy Bigger or More Expensive Camera" on by elisastern
Pros: Small Size
Cons: Horrible Pictures
Summary: I purchased this camera at Costco and thought the small size would make it perfect for capturing on the go moments. The outdoor pictures are barely usable and the indoor are so grainy and blurry that you just end up deleting them. I don't recommend anyone buying this camera. Save up for a while longer and buy something that you can actually get good pictures from.

"nice camera except it's soooo fragile!" on by Jumpmaster C.
Pros: nice big screen, easy to get used to controls
Cons: VERY FRAGILE
Summary: I have had only Nikon cameras for a long time. So, I stepped right into this camera. The screen on the back is nice and big. The response time on the camera is kind of slow, but for the price---that is understood. It is very fragile. I was surprised when a little over a week...it broke. The lens would no longer come out all the way and I'm given a lens error screen. It was never in a dirty environment, never dropped or bumped. I have no idea why it broke. I put it away one night it worked, the next day, it didn't. Weird! Now, I don't know what to do, I have been a Nikon customer for a long time. Maybe, I just got a bad apple!

"Stylish, sleek, good for casual user" on by D_Money_16
Pros: Compact, stylish, durable, decent picture quality, sd card, video capture, time-lapse mode, stop-motion, panorama
Cons: Poor image quality in certain lighting conditions
Summary: A great basic compact and stylish camera that is relatively easy to use. I looked also at the sony w55 but liked this better mainly because it uses sd instead of memory stick, plus everyone I know owns that exact camera. Overall a safe bet for casual photographers, partiers etc.
