"Nice starter camera"
Pros: Esay to use, looks very stylish, Nice video and picture quality at lower ISO, Flash pictures look nice with lots of natural color
Cons: Slow lag time, noise at ISO at 400 or above
Summary: I am no technical device expert and this is the first digital camera I have owned. My wife and I were trying to buy a camera and SD memory card together at a retail store for less than $200.00, so we knew that we were not going to get a camera that took nice, sharp high ISO photos. So we looked for the camera that was within our budget that took nice snap shots and decent video. The Nikon Coolpix S210 is just right for us.
The Nikon Coolpix S210 is a very nice looking camera that is very easy to use.
It takes very nice pictures at ISO less than 400. It also takes very nice videos. The functions are super easy to use, and I was able to pick them up right away.
It isn't the fastes camera, but it is pretty quick without the flash. Fortunately, lag time isn't an issue with me or my wife.
My favorite part is that the pictures do not look washed out when using that flash. I think that makes up for the high noise at ISO of 400 or higher. Overall it is a great little camera for under $200.00. I deffinitely recommend it.
