Pros: Great styling, compact, well positioned controls.
Cons: Only Good for taking pictures of people you hate most. Very soft pictures. Half way decent picture quality only in bright daylight outdoors. Terrible picture quality in the shade, indoors even with good lighting.
Summary: After playing with it for a long while, I could not even get a single picture that is even halfway decent than my 5 year old canon powershot s 410. Nothing good to say about the picture quality. Most users will never get a decent picture from this camera as it miserably fails in all conditions that an average user will take pictures. Dont even think about capturing a moving object. If you care even a little bit about picture quality, go for a cheap canon or sony. Probably a good camera for giving it as a gift to someone you hate. Cool looking camera, but thats just it.

Pros: small and pleasant in the hand. looks nice. Very easy in operation.
Cons: No matter what setting I tried, I couldn't get a single decent shot out of this beast. Close-ups, night shots, portraits - they were all awful. Let's see if J&R lets me return it.
Summary: Bottom line: the image quality is inacceptable. If I wanted a Holga, I would buy a Holga. I am glad I tried this thing out before giving it to my niece as a gift: she would be very disappointed. Don't buy this, like others said before me.

Summary: Camera broke after 4+ months of use; Nikon won't cover damaged LCD - says user must have broken it; not clear how , as it was never dropped and never struck in any way; WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER NIKON

the flash does not function properlySummary: Since this camera is from Nikon, I expected much more than what I got. I bought this camera whithout doing any research, and now I wish that I had. I have had the camera close to a year, but from the start this camera was not performing as expected. The pictures are very poor quality, especially if taken in the dark. There may as well not be a flash with the way the pictures turn out. I definitely do NOT recommend this camera. I expected much more from Nikon. I am thinking about replacing it with a Canon.
