Pros Great small and thin in size, takes very nice photos, great easy functions, quicks response and nice video recording! Impressive!
Cons No battey drain indicator, camera only comes with a charging usb cable for either power or pc and not a real charger for the battery ( take out and put on charger ) Flimsy ac/ dc usb door.
Summary All in all, this camera is great for a refurbished price. Light weight and very compact. Take real nice photos and video w great sound. I bought mine for $66.95 refurbished. It looks brand new! Nice device! I think the average person should really like this little camera. I use DSLR's and find this one is great for the price general quality!
Pros Small, smooth, good picture quality relatively to small budget
Cons Don't you ever drop it ! very fragile even if it falls 1 foot from the floor.
Summary I've had an S3000 which I broke, then I bought another one just like it. Why? because I've used a lot of pocket cameras from different brands , but this one is the best you can get with a budget below $150. I disagree with some users who gave this camera a low rating, you see it is even better than its successor the S3100. Portrait and Macro pictures are very good especially if you have a tripod. Battery life is also good I usually take about a 100 pictures with the flash ON before it requires recharging.
Pros Good for basic point and shoot pictures.
Cons Camera does not focus easily; especially in macro mode.
Summary While good for basic point and shoot pictures the camera has a difficult time focusing; especially in macro mode. -- I would not recommend buying this camera.
Pros small, easy on off button, easy push to take picture button. it says nikon on it, so i finally own a nikon camera which i always wanted.
Cons no charge indicator the camera just says surprise! no more pictures!!! The pc/camera cable does not appear to really charge it and I plugged it in 8 computers. The light does not flash indicating charge like the manual says it should. The menus are cra
Summary This camera is definitely for a person who likes things to work differently from the manual. Or in this case not work at all. The latest thing with this one is that it doesn't even charge... AT ALL. EVER. I have to put the battery in a similar cheaper camera and charge it in that, b/c the pc usb cable is useless as a charger, but guess what they don't even INCLUDE a charger, you have to buy it separately... YAY I got a nikon... Paperweight.
