"Excellent Camera"
on by daedalas1981Pros 12 megapixels, 3200 ISO, 2.7" LCD, Small, Compact, Light. Has many settings that can help you in almost every situation.
Cons Well it's NOT a DSLR, so why complain about speed? Other reviews I've read complain thats its slow. Most compact point and shoot cameras are slow. Want a fast shooting camera look at the Nikon D90 or the Nikon D5000.
Summary Learn how to use a camera. Every camera can be even better if you read the manual. This one is basic enough for the new consumer, but if you want the best pictures from your camera, read the manual. Bottom Line!
In my eyes, I wouldn't go with any other brand name, other than Nikon. Great cameras, had a few, but always enjoy upgrades. Just buy it. Peace! -
"A fine digital camera!"
on by CountBelisariusPros Lightweight, portable, readily activated, useable under all weather conditions. This camera has served me well in macro applications, a feature that is often overlooked in reviews.
Cons Switching modes can be awkward at best (photo to video, mainly) unlike other cameras such as the Samsung L-200.
Summary If I had to buy this camera all over again, I would do so without a scrap of hesitation. My condolences to those who have had trouble with their particular purchases.

"Definitely a waste of money!"
on by IguanaluvPros This camera worked for a week when suddenly the lens stopped adjusting properly. The focus on this camera was slow and pics would be blurry. However, after two weeks the lens began to not REALLY act erratic. It would not retract or extend/open properly. F
Cons It's small and light weight. Plus, there are variety of colors to choose from.
Summary In brief, this camera is garbage and I would not buy it again.

"Good picture, slow picture to picture time"
on by jamesjimmy23Pros Compact, good battery life, solid construction
Cons No HD recording, slow picture to picture time
Summary It's a good camera, but the slow save time from picture to picture can be very annoying, especially if you're trying to capture something quick. It wouldn't be that bad of a camera if it could save pictures faster.

"Many blurred photos"
on by doublewavePros It is a small lightweight camera for relatively low price.
Cons The focus mechanism is extremely slow. Even the slightest movement by the subject, the photographer, or something in the background seems to result in a blurry picture. Low light photos are particularly blurry.
Summary My experience matches that of the other reviewers: the focus mechanism on this camera is substandard and does not deliver clear photos. I will not buy another Nikon.
