"The worst camera on this planet" on by yngguyny
Pros: None (1 star for design but it's heavy at that!)
Cons: Below poor image quality
Summary: I love cameras courtesy of my dad. I am by no means a professional but I know a bit more than normal. I would never rate a product so poorly unless it was warranted it. This camera warrants it. I purchased it after my Casio Exilim Z850 became damaged. That was a great camera but I'd had it for a while and wanted something new - an upgrade. I was talked out of several that I wanted to buy and was advised by the salesperson this was an excellent choice. However, from the first snap through the last one I have been EXTREMELY disappointed. The images were grainy, dull (even on vivid!) and utterly lifeless. My camera-phone took better pictures. (I'm serious.) I tried changing every setting possible but nothing helped. I was so ashamed of some the pictures that I refused to post them online. And the ones I did post I had to "PhotoShop" all night long to make them look decent. Among my good friends I'm known as always being "the one with the camera." I even bring it to nothing special drink nights and happy hour. But for the last few occasions I have been camera-less because of this product. It was such a waste of money but that doesn't bother me as such the fact that I've missed out on some awesome memories. Just today I bought another camera (Canon). The only nice thing about this camera is the modern design and large screen but those tiny pluses fade the moment you look at the picture on it. I guess since it's so heavy on top of everything else I could use it as a paper weight.

"EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED" on by cassiopia89
Pros: I do not have anything good to say!
Cons: grainy out of focus pictures, "water" spots on pics, slow focus, slow speed form picture to picture
Summary: Wish I would have not purchased this "new" camera and would have fixed my Canon Elph Powershot!!!

Cons: bad quality, not enough options
Summary: not worth the money

"Worse than Abysmal" on by rardres
Pros: Screen for Size
Cons: Terrible picture quality
Summary: Simply put, takes a terrible picture. I am by no means a pro, but I have a Nikon DSLR, the D70 and it takes a great picture so I though I would try a more portable Nikon camera for on the go. Unfortunately this camera misses the mark and absolutely takes worst picture I'm ever seen and my camera phone picture quality is pretty terrible. This camera is so bad that I feel guilty it has taken me this long to write a review.

"Skip this camera, too many faults" on by suzannehy
Pros: Small, lightweight, fits easily in a purse
Cons: Picture quality and white balance stink
Summary: I have a great Nikon digital SLR, and thought a Nikon point-and-shoot would be great to keep in my purse. I paid $500 for this camera when it first came on the market. After using it for a few weeks, I realized I'd paid $495 too much. Pictures taken in sunlight are good (and probably are on any camera). In any other lighting condition, this camera stinks. Pictures are extremely grainy in night shot mode. Sports mode is terrible because of shutter lag. The flash is hardly sufficient to compensate for low light. This camera doesn't even meter images properly--there's ghosting and white or gray bursts of light on the images. Save your money on this one and look elsewhere for a decent point-and-shoot camera.
