View based on D2x - Top pro digital SLR
Pros: build quality, ergonomics, lenses, sensor size (a big plus to me), size and weight make for a more steady hold, HSC mode
Cons: about the only thing would be the size and weight after a long carry
Review:
The D2x(s) is the finest pro digital SLR made IMHO. It is tough, so capable and easy to use. I love the HSC mode for wildlife shoots, and with Nikon's fine lenses it makes for an outfit that can handle any job. I rate it very highly and as the best SLR I have ever owned.
I am basing my comments on the D2x, but the D2xs has new features that make it even better, such as the masking for the HSC mode.
