"Fantastic Camera"
Pros: Very powerful platform; does it all
Cons: None, really.
Summary: At my work, I've been using Nikon digital SLR's for about five years. They are everything you'd expect from a professional quality camera. The CNet reviewer claimed that a con with this camera was its weight. Frankly I expect it to be heavy; it's got a metal frame, heavy battery, and tons of electronics packed inside. When you're in the market for a camera of this caliber, you expect a certain amount of heft.
If you're considering this camera, it pays to do some research. Canon's have equally excellent cameras, but just like Nikon's, they have their flaws. The big selling point to many is the full-size sensor. If that's sooo important to you, then don't look back; go get your Canon. But if Nikon's philosophy is more up your alley (The last I heard, the next evolution of the D2x will still have the under-sized sensor), then I can tell you you won't be disappointed!
