Pros: it can see things you don't, top build, excellent battery life, lots of features, stunning non cross type focus ability, easy to use

Cons: stupid layout of dial wheel in portrait mode, shallow grip when holding in portrait position. Not sure what the heck Nikon thinking. I prefer Canon pro body in this area, deeper grip. only 9fps

Summary: Yes, don't even think to try it. Once you try it, you will buy it. Never though of buying another 12MP camera since I already have D700 which in some way very identical to D3s but after I borrow a camera from a friend next thing I ordered one for me and from that point on my D700 become history. You will be blew away with its high ISO capabilities. It can capture detail that something you have to adjust your eyes awhile to realize there is something there that you can't see before you view it on D3s. You can shoot comfortably at any high ISO ranging from 2000 to 6400 without worrying too much. You can shoot as high as 12000 too but I prefer 6400.
