Summary Nikon really hit a home run with this camera. The D700's great feature set combined with build quality is hard to beat at this price point.
Pros Bright LCD.
Amazing photographs that really pop.
Useful 2nd SD card slot.
Great burst shooting.
Cons LCD isn't articulated.
Summary I'm just getting back into digital photography and I love this DSLR. I read all the reviews before I bought it and I couldn't be happier.

Pros Fast, solid amazing quality for the price point. Much more solid feel than my D90. Dual SD card slot. Autofocus fast and responsive. Colors are accurate and vivid. 2 User defined setting modes for quick retrieval for shooting different situations qu
Cons NONE, there are no cons with this camera.
Summary I love this camera. Nikon professional quality at a great price. Well done Nikon!
Pros I can use all of my old AF Nikkor lenses. decent screen to review shots with in-camera editing possible. Dual sd card slot can be used master and backup. In-built flash can be used to command off camera flashguns.
Cons Not a lot, if/when the D7100 is released the control buttons should be touch-identifiable. The price is high but it will come down over time.
Summary I have had the D7000 for 3 months now, I have taken approx 4000 photo's to date and I am now familiar with the controls and use/effect of most. It is as easy or complex to use as you wish to make it, and in conjunction with a good nikon lens gives some of the best results I have had in a long time, I still have all of my nikon kit I have ever owned starting with a FG all the way to an F4.
