5.0 starson by Farscape88Pros: Shoots great picture, and I use a full frame D700 as well and the pictures are very close in comparison.
Cons: Some issues with over saturation/over exposer but fix with current firmware along with some hot pixels on some of the first cameras out. I have seen this happen before with Canon and Nikon.
Summary: Great Digital SLR for the money shoots great pictures, but then again it comes down to who is shooting the picture and how well they can shoot, as I have seen some great shots with point and shoots with people who know how to use a camera. I have Canon's and Nikons and when it comes to Digital SLRs it is a dead tie, so to all you Canon ****** out there nice try to dis this great camera. I agree with CNET assessment of this camera, and Sony isn't in the same league on picture quality yet, but they sure do video well. I shoot strictly Sony for video, but I am impressed at the quality this the video on this unit as well. For those wanting a more pocketable great camera and size is a concern look at a Canon G12 or a Nikon S7000. All in all this camera shoots great pictures and takes very good video to boot!
