"Incredible photos, decent video."
4.5 starson by marklondon66Pros: High resolution photos, dual card, auto cropped lens mode, histogram, horizon and audio controls in video mode, headphone jack, very fast autofocus.
Cons: Definitely not at its best over 1600asa. Heavy.
Summary: An incredible camera for the price. Have been testing it solidly last few days and it holds up very well. Perfect for magazine shoots.

It's lighter than the D700, D3 and the D4 but you are right. Compared to a cell phone camera, It's HEAVY! Just weight (pun intended)until you put a big honking Nikkor 200 f/2.8 or 1 14-24 ultra wide on it. Now you're talking a tad heavy.

Hi
Any chance of a more detailed review. I have a D700 and am wondering if the upgrade would be a worthwhile one, especially in terms of a noticeable resolution improvement? Do you have any images to post or could you send me some please?
In terms of noise, is the noise very noticeable at say 3200 and 6400 asa respectively?
Many Thanks
Patrick
