Pros: Lots of features, lots of power, well built, easy to use.
Cons: The number of features and settings can make it difficult to use to it's full potential. The built in flash is good but it's very easy to see you need an add on flash.

Pros: My first digital, but my fourth Nikon SLR. No complaints at all, feels very solid, like a Nikon. Images are beautiful. I am only a semi-pro type, but the kit lens is fine. In-camera image processing is amazing.
Cons: In 8 months I have not tried the video function. Not what I bought it for.
Summary: Great camera, I would recommend it.

Pros: Good ISO range, amazing picture quality even at high ISOs. Easy aperture and shuter speed adjusting.
Cons: Bad built in flash. lens cover falls off sometimes.
Summary: All around very well built camera, easy to learn, easy to use. Great for low-light and night shots. Very nice LCD. Cheap for a camera of it's abilities.

Pros: takes spectacular photo quality, face detection, live view, great for macros, landscapes, portraits shots, and many more!
Cons: I did not want to use the video because I rather have a Sony video play with HD! No other cons besides the video!
Summary: great camera for beginners, just as long you need to learn about this camera without not learning the basics! Sometimes we get confuse at first, then afterward, you'll be pleased with the function of this camera! I know every cameras have it's cons, so I don't fret about it! I'll stick with this camera and keep it and not sell it, I can upgrade in a few years more, but this camera is considered also the best!
