"Very Good Camera" on by patriot77
Pros: Takes great pictures
Cons: viewfinder is offset
Summary: Great Camera- I had mine in Iraq for an entire year- it took a beating, exposed to sandstorms, 130 degree heat in the summer and extreme moisture during the winter. Plus it runs on AA's but they don't last that long. The only con is that if you want to perfectly frame pictures, you can't use the viewfinder because the boarders don't match what the LCD shows. You have to use the LCD which burns batteries. Overall a great camera. I recommend for the price.

"good camera even for a beginner; good pictures" on by ladamson
Pros: great close-ups, easy on batteries, lots of features
Cons: so many shooting options it can be confusing
Summary: Before this, my most complicated camera was an old Kodak with film cartridges, so this was some step up. It takes great close-ups, which is what I need for my business, but it has lots of other options for fun or experimenting. Some of my photos look like professional work, and I am far from being a professional photographer. Fun and useful.

"Very slow shutter response" on
Pros: Takes great images, nice features.
Cons: I got rid of mine due to the huge delay times inbetween photos, sometimes it took over 5 seconds to snap another photo. Also the auto flash did not work right. It always was on no matter what setting I used.

"Great little camera that also works well underwater(in a good housing)" on
Pros: Great options, well laid-out controls, good flexibility, and the macro range is great.
Cons: Flash may be a bit too strong

"Different modes makes it versatile!" on
Pros: It has got some special modes like black board and white board, which are generally not present in other cameras with in its price range. It has also got a panoromic mode. The LCD displays vivd colours and reasonably big.
Cons: It is bulky :-(
