"A great camera for someone who likes extra features but also likes point and shoot cameras." on by achristner

Pros: Great picture quality. Has easy to use menus.

Cons: No veiw finder, so battery runs down faster.

Summary: I think its a great camera all around.

"Great camera for business use." on by furlling

Pros: I use this camera daily, it has proved to be durable and dependable.

Cons: Is slow to reset after flash photos.

Summary: Great overall basic camera. Good picture quality and durable case. Camera dropped from the roof of my mini-van at about 50mph. It bounced down the road and ended up on the yellow line. That was 3 years ago. I am a real estate appraiser and use it to take 20-100 photos a day. Still working great. I highly recommend this for everyday business use.

"very good product for the price" on by rdellweates

Pros: user friendly compared to some more expensive brands, the 12 second delay timer gives ample time to get into self portraits or group shots

Cons: eats batteries, better have quite a few rechargeables at the ready

Summary: For someone who wants a simple camera that's easy to use at a relatively low price, this is a good choice. The pictures, even blown up, compare to my son's camera which cost three times as much. It is small, light, and easy to carry in a pocket which makes it more likely that you will have it with you when you need a camera rather than left in the vehicle, backpack, etc. The two, close-up modes allow surpisingly good pictures of flowers, insects, etc. but you better have a tripod or be real steady to use these modes. My biggest complaint is a "blue tinge" on many of the shots, which can be corrected somewhat with editing on a computer. Also, focus is critical and there is not much room for error in this respect, so the target must be centered and the green indicator light must be on and not blinking. Overall, I am well pleased with this camera for the use it was purchased for, and that is everyday snapshots with a ready-to-use unit.

"A great point and shoot camera!" on by WD0FIA

Pros: Easy to use, great optical zoom!

    Cons: Expensive xD storage cards.

Summary: A really good value. Found mine at Walmart for $89. For a general use point and shoot, for a low price, check it out!

The downside is the xD storage card, a 128 xd is priced about three times what an SD card is.

"This is an excellent camera" on by damon1

Pros: Takes crisp clear pictures night or day time

Cons: some pictures turn out a little fuzzy

Summary: This camera takes some very sharp pictures, out
of say 10 shots 2 might be a little fuzzzy, but
the other 8 will be crystal clear. does pretty good with low light shots too. I just recently purchased a nikon coolpix 7600 7mp digital camera and the olympus has it beat hands down. Something happend, I got lucky and got an extra good olympus, or not so lucky and got a bad nikon coolpix, who knows.
