Olympus Stylus Verve (silver)

Pros: Nice design and color. Decent quality of pictures

Cons: $200 for a 4MP refurbished camera?

Summary: I bought it refurbished directly from Olympus manufacture for $200+tax+shipping. It came with 90-day warranty. I don't use camera very often. When I used the camera about the 3rd or 4th time 2 weeks ago, there was no display. The screen was all black even though I can still view the pictures that had beeen taken. I have a feeling that Olympus just made the camera break at the exact right time when the warranty has been expired. I own the camera less than 6 months. I didn't even try to call for a quote from the manufacture because I know it will take forever and I will be charged a lot. So I went to a local store who would tell me the problem and give me a quote right away. It costed $100+tax to fix it. They have to replace the CCD that controls the pictures. Something like that. They also give me 6 months of warranty after fixing (more time than the orginal manufacturee). Never buy from Olympus again although I still like the design and color.
