"Very compact good quality camera."
Pros: A good balance of resolution and optics in a very moisture resistant case. Just the camera for carrying on hikes, skiing or other outdoor activities in mixed weather.
Cons: Not all their software works on the Mac.

Pros: This is the only digital camera I have found that is designed to be used in the rain and around water. It is compact and the features are easy to learn. I'm switching from a big clunky Sony because the camera is light and can be exposed to weather on hike

Cons: Acceptable to Fair 8X10's. So what? : ) The printed manual is a bit tiny. My advice: Go the Pentax website, download the PDF of the manual and print it a bit larger on good paper.
