  "OK camera; terrible service"

  Pros: thin, light

  Cons: fragile plus horrendous pseudo-warranty

  Summary: Beware incredibly bad service. This was a pretty nice camera that lasted about 3 months. Then inside the camera case, wrapped in a towel, inside a purse in the back of a car not in direct sunlight it just shattered and the electronics stopped working, presumably due to heat (although it was not all that hot). The joke of a warranty is $53 to see what's wrong, then cost of repairs; you send it to them at your expense. Right, Panasonic. With dozens of makers, why in the world buy from Panasonic? I'll go back to Canon or Nikon or Sony.

  Good pix in bright light, but fragile and terrible service with worthless guarantee. Lots of better cameras in this price range.
