Pros: Amazing wide angle (now 25mm) . So much packed into an economical point and shoot.
Cons: For the money really no complaintes. Some indoor stuff not as good as it could be. Other than that, I wish I had waited to buy the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3.
Summary: Although I have an older slightly different animal, (DMC TZ 2) it is refreshing that Panasonic has built on this technology.

Pros: wide lens, strong battery
Cons: no eye finder
Summary: Instead to buy an expensive wide lens for my SLR camera, with this pocket wide lens camera I do save time, weight and money. the quality of pictures is great, all in automatic mode. The battery is very strong and follow me a full summer, in hiking, cold and wet situation. I reload only once in a month.

Cons: Very inferior photos to my previous FX50. Also screen only half as bright and inadequate in strong light
Summary: I purchased one in May 2008 and it has been a complete disaster. I previously had a FX50 for 12 months and I was delighted with it. I bought this because of the upgraded specs and the CNet review. I have now taken 1000 photos and they are all very inferior to my FX50 ones. In addition the screen is only half as bright and in strong outdoor light the image is hardly visible.
I gave my FX 50 to my daughter but I have now bought myself a new one
