"Small, Lightweight & EZ to use Point&Shoot Camera"
Pros: Great Leica Len & Lg. LCD, and Fast Shooting Rate
Cons: only 6MP for the price ($380) of a 7MP camera
Summary: I am a Professional Photographer for 13 years and have shot digitally for 4 years and have 8 yrs exp. in Photoshop.
My wife wanted a new compact digital camera. We were replacing her Fuji A-10 3MP camera, which is still a good little (but bulky) digital camera.
As a seasoned Photographer, I was going to avoid any electronic company type manufacturers (ie. Toshiba, HP, Panasonic,Casio, etc.) and stick with the industry leaders like Kodak, Canon, Nikon, Sony(borderline), Fuji and Minolta. My wife really wanted a Sony Cybershot because of its compactness and her friend had one. After looking at the flat small lens of the sony... no way. So we got the Nikon 7900 (a 7MP, $350) digital Camera. The Nikon had a lag time in snapping the shot. The Nikon was Autofocusing too slow.
The next day we exchanged the Nikon for a Panasonic Lumix 6MP and paid $30 for the difference. The Lumix 6MP was fast to focus and sharp image on LCD and small. So, my wife was happy.
