4.0 starson by Goone252Pros: It's easy and simple to operate. It's 24x optical zoom is very good. With it's POWER O.I.S, I can take good picture even at full 24x zoom hand handled or without using the tripod. It's Full HD Video is excellent.
Cons: It's a daylight with sunny day digital camera. It's image quality taken during cloudy days is not very good. I have not figured out how to set a program with back lighting from it's menus. It's a bit pricy for a point and shoot digital camera.
Summary: I think it's better to have or include the Video Mode in the Mode Selector Wheel. I found it stop recording videos after taking a few still photos and videos. I wonder why because I'd never experience this with my other simple digital Sony DSC-HX5V camera. As an amateur photographer, maybe I've still a lot more to learn about using this Panasonic fz100. I've not try to take pictures of sunrise or sunset yet. On sunny day, the image quality is very good even at full 24x optical zoom or full 32x Inteligent zoom. Close-up pictures of flowers, insects, dragon fly, frogs etc. are very good.

Have you figured out new ways since December to make it work better on cloudy days? Has it been fixed from the problem with stopping after a few pics or videos? How about the backlighting problem on the menus? thanks for doing a review, any response will be helpful
