"Great review - spot on"
Pros: Loaded with options, surprising video
Cons: Noise indooors
Summary: I can't add much to such a perfect review. My complaints are similar to yours.
You're right about the slow EVF updating. I was attempting to catch two of my cats in a cute scene tonight and I was sure from what I had seen in the EVF that I had nailed the shot I wanted. Yet when it came time to look at the images, it was clear that I had missed it. Now I know why.
On the plus side, I never intended to use this camera for videos, yet I am surprised at the quality of the videos. Not HD quality to be sure, but for quick vids for websites, it's pretty useful.
I look forward to working with some RAW images to see what this camera can really do.
