"Great camera, good video touch screen not great"
4.0 starson by grierdillPros: Shoots great video, pictures are on par with canon 7d when i've shot with it. Intelligent Auto mode is pretty good.
Cons: BIGGIE: no manual control in video mode, touch screen is a little clunky. 14mm-42mm lens is not super fast, missed some video opportunities because it would take longer than expected to shoot video after startup of the camera.
Summary: I take photos a lot but also shoot lots of video and had been using the 7D before through work. It was great but i didn't want to go fully DSLR. I was a little skeptical of the video capabilities because there weren't that many good examples but i shot tons on a trip and made a music video that is all shot on this camera and looks WAY better than the other examples online:
