"I'm impressed. Fast and good colors!" on by bluskies
Pros: Powers on FAST to get unexpected shots.
Cons: Records video but no audio. Duh... Talkies are all the rage now Panasonic.
Summary: Hi all. Just got this digicam a few days ago and I'm impressed. Small size and a lot of features for not that much money. Color reproduction is amazing. Bright LCD screen. Has a "simple" mode or you can really select your shot by scene like Night Shot, Fireworks, Portrait, Baby, etc, or even adjust your white balance. Also, has a separate Macro feature for those that like to photograph flowers up close. If not using the flash can take pictures fairly quickly. If using the flash it takes a second or so to recharge. With the burst feature (doesn't work with flash, unless using timer) will continue taking pics till either you stop pressing the shutter or the card fills up. I was amazed that while driving (OK not the best time to be taking pictures) I'd flick the on button and within a second I'd have the shot. My Canon A630 is no slouch but that's at least $80 or more difference in price. This camera also records video. Pretty good video too. However, I hope you like your video with just video because there's no audio. I'm going to see if this camera can be used as a webcam, and maybe that route you could get audio in. My Canon does video and audio but it's also bulkier than this camera. This you can slide into a pocket or purse and forget about it until you needed it and boom...the shot's yours. It's not a deal breaker considering all the other great features this camera has but if it recorded video with audio it would be perfect in my book. Also love the fact that it takes SD and SDHC Cards. Hope this helps. Have a good one!

"Excellent cost benefits relation" on by fieramosca
Pros: I am surprised with the quality of the photographies for being a entry level camera.
Cons: Camera without viewfinder (in sunny day it is difficult to fit a photography).
Summary: Solid features. Very good performance of the MEGA OIS image stabilizer. I am surprised with the quality of the photographies for being a entry level camera. Friendly to the use. It makes less noise than other cameras. Good shooting speed. Shell of intermediate quality (made in China) but very light. Compact size (it bothers in the pocket). Finally excellent cost benefits relation.

"Can't take detailed images" on by vintage yellow
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: No up close pictures
Summary: This is a terrible camera. If you get within a foot of the object you want to take a picture of, it will just come out blurry. It is fine if you want to take pictures from far away, but any up close ones are terrible.
