    Pros: Good balance of megapixels and zoom capabilities in a compact body.
    iA feature remains effective in most shooting situations.
    Long battery life a definite plus for a regular traveller.

    Cons: Distance shots in low light still not feasible, realistically.
    LCD display not as 'clean' as my previous model, a TZ5.

    Summary: Upgrading to this camera for me (from a Panasonic TZ5) was mainly about getting a wider angle lense and extra zoom capability. So far the camera has delivered. Cnet's query about value-for-money is possibly valid, but I was able to shop around and get a pretty competitive deal.
