"Poor camera"
on by tkwittPros small size
Cons poor image quality, poor auto focus-even in daylight.
Summary I wanted a super compact camera for a trip to Italy. This was the perfect size. It fits nicely on my belt, and was very convenient to access throughout the 10-day trip. Problem is that the images are very dark, even those taken in daylight. Autofocus at night is impossible, only slightly better during the day.
I thought that I needed to spend more time learning the camera, so I hung onto for awhile. Every time I used it, I hated the resulting images. After 14 months of frustration I returned it to Costco (they're great about that if you keep all of the packaging, parts, and receipt...which I always do with electronics until I'm certain I'm satisfied.) -
"Prefect camera!"
on by fun4cristiPros I enjoy everything about it.
Cons It's sad you're not allowed to manually control the shutter speed....but then again, that's why you have the picture modes!
Summary It's the best camera anyone could have: helpful design & menus, excellent results, Click-to-click image processing, 30 fps with sound movie, etc...It's great!!!

"If it can make it through the Fallujah invasion, it can make it through a family picnic!"
on by madmaxx63Pros Nice photo quality, small size for easy carry, easy to use, quite a few options for special effects, sturdy!
Cons small internal memory, digital zoom is too grainy to use unless conditions are close to perfect, eats batteries like they were free... they're not, trouble seeing the screen in direct sunlight
Summary Accidentally drop tested from 4' practically right out of the box... thanks Gene, lol! It hit the concrete, jarred the lens out of whack but I gave it a tug to straighten out the lens and it's worked perfectly for the past year. It made it through the dusty conditions in Iraq and with the drop test... I'd buy another in a heartbeat!

"I HATE this camera!"
on by Alexandra_XPros Small & lightweight
Cons Terrible autofocus, no real manual focus, tiny viewscreen impossible to see in daylight or bright indoors, takes up to 25 seconds to refresh in between each picture!!!, doesn't take picture right away
Summary Don't get this camera. I got it before a once-in-a-lifetime trip and almost none of the pictures turned out. And it wasn't just me being inept, because the pics i took with my friend's digital camera turned out just fine. With this one, I'd be ready to snap a shot, and I'd hold down the button for about 5 seconds before it decided to take the picture. Also, once you took a picture, you'd have to wait at least 25 seconds while the flash refreshed and the screen went blank, until you could take another. This camera was a complete waste of money.

"What more could you ask for"
on by anthonycalabriaPros Fits in any pocket
Cons flash takes a bit to recharge
Summary I have used this camera for over a year and love it. It takes excelent pics and is so so small it can go anywhere. I have taken it in my top shirt pocket and forgot it was there. I have little complaints about this camera. Big power for such a small device.
