"Does Not Work after 11 months"

Cons very inconsistent in picture quality
Summary I would look beyond this pentax camera. After 11 months when I needed a new memory card, I installed it and now I have a memory card error message. It won't reformat the card and Pentax said it sounds as if the chip has gone bad and I need to send it in for repair. I had to use a disposable camera to our trip in the Bahamas because of this camera. I am now looking at a more well know brand. Don't purchase this camera!

Summary Ok the battery life is short on AA Alkaline but you are not really supposed to use AA alkalines in this one, NiMH are the ones and at least 2100mah, you can also get a LION battery for this too, Please do not give a poor rating for AA alkaline battery life. the picture are really good for a $150 camera!

Summary Will take about 15 picture with standard alkaline batteries. I have 2500mAh batteries but I still need a set of four to get me thru a couple hour trip. Don't listen to others if they say the battery life is fine. I've owned other cameras and none have gone thru batteries like this.

Summary I love this camera, it's big, but I LOVE the big screen, you have to hold it down all the way to take a picture which confused people when they used my camera.
