Pros Fantastic underwater images and movies, and the super macro setting allows for some amazing shots

Cons The regular daytime images appear over exposed when using auto setting.
Could have better image stabalization.
If you have large hands it is a bit difficult to open the battery/memory card compartment

Summary The size of this camera is great and the attached clip is very handy. There are SO many functions and settings that can be a bit overwhelming if you only have basic or point and shoot experience, however if you take the time to learn and practice you can do some really nice photography with this little camera. With the high megapixels images come out crystal clear, but I found the movie quality (other then underwater which was great) to be less then average.
For underwater photos (underwater setting) this camera does a great job in adjusting the colors and especially the blues to give fantastic image results. The underwater movie mode also does a great job. Have taken it in pools and ocean and no moisture noted and it functioned very well.
If you have larger hands the controls are a bit akward and I find it a bit difficult to open the battery/memory compartment.
The super macro shooting mode is amazing and you really can shoot as close as 1cm with great results. I shot a spider web on a misty morning and when I downloaded the photo you could literally see thousands of small water beads clinging to the web (looked like little diamonds) which you could not even see with the naked eye. Close ups of flowers and plants also yeilded spectacular results to the point where you can identify small insects crisply that were on the flower.
There is also a mode to take photos of food which does a fantastic job.
As far as ruggedness it does seem like a great camera so far although I'm really not sure if it were droped how well the lcd screen would survive an impact. The screen does scratch really easily and the display is REALLY difficult to see in bright light.
