Pros: Takes wonderful pictures. Light weight. Battery lasts a long time and recharges quickly.

Cons: Have not found anything I don't like.

Summary: I bought this camera for a trip to Alaska and it was the best camera I could have chosen. It is lightweight and doesn't hurt to have hanging around my neck. The zoom is fantastic. I love the settings for different surroundings. I'm not a professional photographer, but I love taking pictures. I have had cameras since childhood and this one is the best I've ever had. I did not have the funds to afford a high priced camera, but wanted the most for the money I could spend and I'm comvinced I found the best. I took long range zoom pictures from the airplane and got some great shots. I took pictures in an ice museum and they are great. I use it now for taking pictures of crochet work and the stitch definition is perfect. Can you tell I love this camera? It is easy to use, but still learning about all it will do. My daughter likes it better than her high end camera. I owned a Pentax 35mm, many years ago and it was one of the best cameras I had, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with this Pentax x70 and I have not been disappointed. Most reviews I've read seem to be written by professionals and while I respect their opinions, I haven't agreed with most of them. For a novice or a grandmother, like me, that loves taking pictures, this is one great camera!!
