"I love this camera!"
Pros: Great quality photos, handy LCD flip-around screen
Cons: Some non-intuitive interface choices
Summary: This is only the 2nd digital camera I've owned, but it makes my older Kodak seem like a kids toy. We've been extremely pleased with the quality of the photos. Some pictures we took in Italy are hanging framed on our wall at 16x20, and could've been taken by a professional.
The only downside is that to go beyond point-n-shoot, you have to memorize some aspects of the manual. The single letter codes on the dial just don't stick with me. Fortunately, it's not too often that manual adjustments are needed.
The flip screen is very handy, especially when you want to hold the camera up overhead to get a crowd shot.
We purchased a 3rd party set of wide angle and macro lenses, and the wide angle is especially worth it for taking landscape shots. The downside is that the flash is unusable with the lens mount, as it casts a large shadow across half of the picture - but that's probably standard with any compact camera.
We recommended this camera to some friends (who are very picky about these things) and they've been very happy with it, too.
