Pros: The wide angle lens and and manual controls in a pocketable camera made me buy it. It talkes good Quality pictures, has lots of scene settings and manual options. memry is relatively cheap it uses CF.

"G-series performance in a small package, but it stinks indoors and in all low light situations"
Pros: AWESOME outdoor camera. Perfect for the bike trail, or hiking, etc...as long as there is plenty of outdoor light it kicks but. Tons of settings, great screen, great size.
Cons: Stinks in doors, especially in in-door and wide open spaces, even if reasonbly well lit. Wish I had a Digital Rebal in these cases.
Summary: I love the camera for outdoor shots. Love it... read more

"Excellent tradeoff between size and features that takes superb pictures."
Pros: Many features in a small package. Fairly intuitive interface. Excellent lens. Easy to use. Good battery life. Very good color balance and photo quality. Very good quality MPEGs.
Cons: Canon software is hard to master. Slight jostling of the cover can turn off the camera.

Pros: user friendly, good quality images
Cons: 3 repairs in 18 months, twice on the optical unit (apparently the most frequently replaced component in Canon cameras and the part alone costs 60% of the value of the camera)
